BK Boys Basketball Competes for State against Rigby

Bishop Kelly High School’s Boys competed today in the first day of the varsity Boys Basketball tournament. They did excellent all through the game. Earlier, before the game started, students from BK were released early so they could walk or board busses. Always showing off their school pride BK fans unloaded off the busses and filled up more than a quarter of the Borah Gym.

Unfortunately the Rigby got the better part of an already close game. After watching a few free throws by Rigby, they stayed persistently two points ahead for the last 3 minutes of the game. Final score of the game 49 Bishop Kelly, 52 to Rigby.

Bishop Kelly is not out of the tournament at this point however. They go on into a different bracket where they will still have a chance to win a few more games for the glory of Kelly.
